Struggling to find jeans that flatter my figure. Any advice?

Our take

Finding the perfect pair of jeans can be a challenge, especially when seeking styles that flatter your unique figure. With short, athletic legs and a straight waist, it’s essential to choose cuts that enhance your silhouette and create the illusion of curves. While bootcut jeans may offer some balance, consider exploring options like high-rise or wide-leg styles that can provide shape and sophistication. Embrace tailored fits that celebrate your individuality, allowing you to feel confident and feminine as you navigate your social outings.

Struggling to find jeans that flatter my figure. Any advice?

Hello! I have short/athletic/muscular legs, a straight waist, and a smaller butt (possibly an apple body shape). This tends to give me a more manly look, which is a huge insecurity of mine, especially as I have PCOS.

That said, I am struggling to find any sort of jeans style that looks better!

The style I have been wearing (Levis ribcage jeans, seen in photos 1-2) accentuates my long torso/short legs and my lack of curves (as the size of jeans that fits my waist is much too loose on my thighs/butt)!

I do think bootcut may suit me (#3), but still find that my lack of curves/masculine figure is emphasized!! See also wide leg (4-6).

Would another style or rise of jeans work for me better? Possibly mid-rise?

I want jeans that make it look like I have at least some curves, so I can go out with my friends and feel confident/feminine again.

Thank you for your help!
