Tips on camera care when traveling to a cold country

Any tips on how to care for my camera when traveling to a cold country?

I’m traveling to a cold country soon. I stay in a tropical country so it’s hot all year long. I don’t really have to worry about lens condensing. Except from when entering and exiting a room with AC.

My previous experience with my old lens after coming back from a cold country was that it fogged up internally after my trip. Maybe I didn’t took care of it properly, like air it properly after use and housed it in my camera bag the entire trip.

What’s the best tip for a case like this? Cus i don’t wanna risk ruined a good lens. Any tip is greatly appreciated.
