Wrocław, Poland - March 2026 Solo Trip

| I recently returned from a solo trip to the city of Wrocław, Poland where I spent 5 days/4 nights, albeit the first and last day were mostly arriving/leaving so 3 full days to explore. Having already been to Poland before (I visited Kraków & Zakopane in April 2025), I had high hopes and already knew I wanted to return again so originally I had planned for Warsaw, but I hastily decided to change to Wrocław and I am so glad I did! Such a beautiful city with amazing architecture, picturesque streets and not to mention the abundance of gnomes 👀 I think I stayed for the perfect amount of time, and got lucky with the weather too, with only a little bit of rain on the first day and sunshine on the last ☀️ Just some of the places/areas I enjoyed the most: • The market square (rynek) Stunning colourful buildings in a atmospheric square, what more could you ask for? • Wrocław university My accommodation was located in the area with the university and it was a delight, the building itself is a masterpiece! (picture 3 & 11) • Bastion Sakwowy The view from here of the river was a highlight for me. (picture 8) • Bastion Ceglarski Another view near the river where you can see the cathedral which I will always remember. (picture 2) • Wrocław Cathedral An amazing building and the surrounding area was so nice to walk around, I now regret not seeing the inside! • Kolejkowo museum Another memorable place for me, a museum/attraction with handmade figures, landscapes and model trains, the attention to detail here was just incredible. A must see if you come here!! An absolute 10/10 trip, everyone was super friendly & the vibes were at an all time high. I will absolutely be returning again to Poland 🇵🇱 :) [link] [comments] |
