Looking for advice as to how to make a home studio setup

My goal is to take selfies to use on dating profiles. I’m open to using temporary wallpaper and buying lighting etc. but don’t want to use anything but my IPhone. I already have a couple outdoor photos but not enough and don’t have anyone to take pictures of me, already attempted using a tripod and taking outdoor photos myself with no success so I’m hoping interior photos were I can manipulate the lighting and setup to my liking might be good idea. Open to suggestions.
