mascara recs ?

for fellow clean girls:: what do you recommend for mascara? I'm currently using the Covergirl clump crusher in waterproof black, but I prefer brown. I'm looking for a volumizing waterproof brown mascara ? TY !!! :)

edit: i've tried tower 28 in brown but it smudges, i've been told to try ilia limitless lash
