How to get rid of callus and hard skin on your palms?

I know this post might be unusual because you’ve probably never heard of callus on the palms before.

I’ve never seen or heard of someone with this condition, but I have really hard and thick skin on the inner creases of my fingers, in the creases of my palms, and on the wedges of skin between my fingers.

So I’m just wondering, does anyone know how I can soften this skin?

For reference, the skin that I’m dealing with on my palms is similar to calluses/hard skin on the soles of the feet.
