Warning / feedback about Gorillapod 5k - two legs just fell off

Two legs of my Gorillapod 5k just randomly fell off while I was straightening them to pack it into my backpack.

The tripod is 9 months old.

I'm extremely happy this didn't happen with my camera on it, but man what a downer. That thing is not cheap.

I just thought I would give everyone a refresher, apparently I'm not the only one and this issue is not uncommon.

I reached out to their customer service but I don't have the receipt on me, because it's in my hometown on the other side of the planet atm. -_-
