What function for accumulation in column?

I have almost no knowledge in Excel, so excuse me if I'm explaining it stupidly. Suppose I have this table - this is a simplified version of my original table. I want all numbers from C2-C5 accumulated in C1, all numbers from D2-D5 in D1 and so forth. All numbers of C7-C12 in C6. Meaning, I want all numbers cumulated until the next free cell. My original table consists of 15000 entries. The first number is a categorisation number. Meaning 50 is the first category and everything below with 60 falls into that category. How would I do that? What function/formula would I use for the whole column C (D, E and so on) to do that?

For clarification: I don't want to write =SUM(C2; C5) for every category as the table is too long and it would take too much time to do that. The groups are also not the same size.
