Does anyone’s family make them feel guilty for travelling?

Does anyone’s family make them feel guilty for travelling? For context, I am not young.. 38 and my husband is 41 and we have two small children (6 yrs and almost 1). My parents (and to a lesser extent my husbands) have guilt tripped us about travelling. We have an upcoming trip to Greece and both families cannot fathom why we would travel during this geopolitical climate and “energy crisis” and why we would put our kids in that situation as well. Also last year we went to Dubai and never heard the end of it due to it being in the Middle East. It’s really affecting me. Does anyone else experience this? How do I shut it down and not let it affect me and what is supposed to be a joyous and core memory trip with my kids?
