For my south Asians: Why does our skin texture seem bad

as a south asian girl, I’m trying to clear out my skin but I’ve noticed that the people around me tend to to have skin that just tends to glow more, looks more “clean.” I’ve noticed that even other south asians around me sometimes have a similar problem with textured and “dull” looking skin. Is there a reason as to why? Do any other south Asians have this struggle, how did you fix it?
