Originally from California i randomly left the U.S. with 6k usd i have been here in the Philippines for a year and a half. This is what lead up too it.

So my last couple years in California looked like this. Ill try to summarize. I had a drug addiction for a long time since 16 btw. I went to a drug rehab program got sober was doing alright started working in drug detoxes as a behavioral health technician got a car that i put down 10k on was doing monthly payments. I was doing okay materialistically but still felt a emptiness (didn't see family much at all got kicked out at 19 family was very dysfunctional) i had a couple friends none i was too close with. Started dating a 20 year old girl i was 26 at the time got pretty attached too her she had some bipolar issues it was toxic. Anyways i relapse car gets seized by border patrol i was trying to smuggle immigrants from some mountains towards San Diego by the border. Back in rehab. I was out for a few months had about 6k usd and a passport i felt like i didn't have much too loose and i also felt LA is a toxic environment also. So currently I'm not doing as much traveling here i don't have my online job anymore (my Filipina ex was also my boss) when i left her lost my job also. Lately i have just been cooking healthy meals everyday and exercising. Anyways once i get my finances together i want to travel to a different country maybe Singapore or somewhere in south america (im Mexican and Spanish) i have some pretty bad health problems from my drug use i don't think i will live past 40 just trying to enjoy my life as much as possible. Its my first post btw just want to get more involved in this sub.
