Does equipment matter?

I don't think you have to spend a fortune on a good rig, if you can find something that feels comfy, i was at goodwill and i found a small kids film camera, and i didn't expect it to be good but when i took photos and got them back it had a vintage grainy design which i found pretty cool and some of the photos i took im using for a website that im creating.

So no, equipment doesn't matter in a way, you dont have to get the best camera just find something that you enjoy, and if youre just starting and the expensive cameras might be confusing
