Rome nov trip

Hello everyone, we will be traveling to Italy, November 24 to December 1. I’ll be fine from the southeast USA and will fly into Rome and will also plan on flying out of Rome. I’m traveling with three young kids who are age 11 nine and five we prefer to travel slow and not do too much at once. I’m just starting my research on Italy. At this time, I’m leaning towards spending the entire time in Rome. I’m undecided as if I should go to Florence for one night in between. If I do that, I think I will just bring a small bag with me with our stuff and the kids stuff and just keep our accommodations in Rome so we don’t have to pack up everything. My basic plan is this.

November 25 no plans, just walk around the hotel. I will likely be staying at FH 55 grand. Hotel is not booked yet, but towards this as it has appeared to have family accommodations.

November 26 golf cart tour in the morning and relax the rest of the day

November 27 Colosseum tour take it easy rest of the day, just explore

November 28 catacomb tour, explore rest of the day

November 29 hang out at villa borghese

November 30 vatican tour

December 1 return home

What are your thoughts? I believe the hotel is in the monti area.

Overall plan is to do one big thing a day and then just take it easy the rest of the day explore and go with the kids pace
